cs@storrs.demon.co.uk Charlotte Storrs makes a wide range of functional stoneware for domestic use. She prefers to use muted, natural colours and makes most of the glazes herself. Decoration is limited to combing, faceting or using patterned, ceramic rollers on the clay. She was born in Holland
where she studied languages and music. She combines her life as
a musician with her other passion, ceramics. She works from a well
equipped studio in her garden in Culham, sells through shops and
gets frequent commissions. |
