Jane Bowen; Jane graduated from Camberwell school of Art in 1989, then worked in a pottery in Delhi, and potteries in North Devon before apprenticing to Clive Bowen. Jane set up her first pottery in Northmoor in 1995, and now works from her studio in Tackley. She uses valentines clay on a Leach wheel, and makes some handbuilt pieces. Influences include traditional European slipware, Japanese ceramics, Staffordshire figurines and the work of many contemporary potters.

Dylan Bowen ; trained with Clive Bowen, graduated from Camberwell School of Art in 1992. He set up a workshop in Oxford with Jane in 1998. Moved workshop to Tackley in 2002. Dylan’s work is mainly wheel thrown, some pieces moulded or handbuilt. Slip is poured and trailed and covered with a clear glaze. Dylan is working from the slipware tradition influenced by American ceramicists, music, neo expressionism and outsider art.
