Robin Furlong is a designer maker of fine contemporary furniture, who’s ability to take a fresh angle on a project creates imaginative solutions that sit pleasingly in their surroundings.

Since setting up his workshop in 1989 he has built on the years spent working for three top makers, continually developing his style and always delighting in the challenge each commission brings “I find the flow of ideas is released as soon as a new work is discussed, drawing on a library of style and detail which has built up over 25 years designing.”

Delighting the eye with clean lines and flowing curves Robin combines woods and utilises subtle joint details with beautiful craftsmanship.

Robin has received three prestigious Guild Mark Awards from the Worshipful Company of Furniture makers, and finds many clients returning to place further commissions.
