Hilary Fehr studied pottery for her degree at Bretton Hall in Yorkshire. After living abroad for 20 years she recently returned to Britain and set up her own studio in Abingdon.

She makes functional stoneware pots and enjoys experimenting with clays, slips and glazes. Her work is influenced by her travels and she is inspired by women in the Berber culture expressing their tribe’s identity through symbols, which is reflected in her decoration.
